I started out in the Freestyle scene back in 2004 and began recording my own music in 2006-ish but got really big into around 2008 when my moms passed, my writting got deep, the passion came out, you know? That's when i started the Rhyming Record$ label and I started producing for myself and friends, i grew up with quite a few people in the Toronto/Scarborough area who played a big part in the Toronto Hip Hop scene, and locally. so it appealed to me, i had fun with it.Have you performed in front of an audience?I have performed in Live Battle events In Niagara and had one the Crown back in 2007 and had performed at some private friend parties during battle events but nothing big.
Your musical influences
My biggest influences would deffinetly have to be Mobb Deep. I just loved that grimey east coast gangsta rap, and when i started i just naturally had that style. People would instantly tell me i had that sound, my boys would say yo man you sound like prodigy from Mobb Deep. Actually this is kinda funny i would put my tracks on cds and bumped them in the car and people would be like yo i like that song who was it Mobb Deep? Lol So ya deff my biggest influences.What equipment do you use?
When i first started playing around i used a cheap mic and adobe beat maker but i also learned to play the piano extremely well so i use my Yamaha keyboard, got good mixers, amps, DAW, and were currently using a Audio Technica Condenser Microphone and some Beats Studio Headphones but i dropped out of the zone for a long minute hopefully i'll get some more gear in the near future.Anything else?
We have a new album on the horizon coming out so make sure to look out for it were gonna have some good features and production on that.
