Redford

"I cant get this song out of my head. is what you may likely be saying after hearing one of the Electronic or Hip Hop tracks produced by Redford. The artist from Las Vegas chooses to blend and compose genres ranging from Trance, Hip hop and even cinematic orchestral scores. He may even combine all the elements into one song. One thing will remain consistent though; the ability to create addicting melodies that you will catch yourself humming minutes later. Redford is currently working on a full length Electronic CD. The CD incorporates a cinematic feel and fuses several different styles of electronic tied together by a constant theme and storyline. The initial focus is to create a soundtrack for the listeners. The tracks will start off mellow and soothing, then switch up to high energy dance tracks and resolve into warmer mellow tunes. The goal is to always have a track to reflect the listeners mood. Taking the spotlight off of the artist or singer, and putting the focus on the listeners current state of mind is integral to this concept. When not working on his own CD, he is working with hip hop artists to produce catchy hits. He also composes orchestral and electronic background arrangements for hard rock bands. Television and film are also on the list as well. Redford has been producing songs for 9 years and draws from his earlier love for playing the piano and tastes in very eccentric musical styles to deliver a fresh new sound. An atypical list of composers inspired and influenced him at a very young age. This list involves such film composers as Danny Elfman, James Horner and Jerry Goldsmith. In the mid 90s, electronic music acts like Prodigy and Crystal Method made it into the mainstream and had an effect on Redfords taste in music and style. It also motivated him to learn all the tools and techniques necessary to start writing his own techno. Growing up in Sin City has helped him develop an understanding for whats popular in the clubs, what the DJs will use, how to structure club songs and what hits will make people get out of their seats and onto the dance floor. This song makes me want to dance! This is one of dozens of the motivating reviews that inspires him to keep putting out newer and hotter tracks while anxious to learn and explore new styles and techniques.
