Looking At The Same Star Looking At The Same Star
Two lovers looking at the same star, hand in hand

Desperado Desperado
Electronic, hard-driven song with strong drumbeats--much like the bounty hunter character it is meant to portray, from my own short stories.
Music has always been part of my heart and soul, from my earliest memories. Though my skill may not be on the same level as other composer, I work from the heart. Electronic composition is my medium of choice, although I do play several acoustic instruments. Composing my pieces on the computer and my Yamaha keyboard allows me the freedom to present pieces as I hear them in my own mind, in full, and share them as they were meant to be heard.
Do I have an "agenda" with my music? No. It's the joy of the art. It's sharing joy, healing, and peace with anybody who cares to listen. It's my hope that hearing my songs will bring you a little bit of happiness.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
No, not yet. Perhaps one day I might consider it, but with the complexity of some of my pieces, that is a ways off.
Your musical influences
One of the earliest influences on my music was the Eurythymics, as well as Enya. The first song I could ever remember learning to sing from the radio was, "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)", followed not too long after by "Orinoco Flow". As the years have gone on, John Williams has become quite an influence on my work, as has Hans Zimmer, Alexander Courage, Jerry Goldsmith, and many others. This offers a colorful patchwork quilt of styles for me to learn from.
What equipment do you use?
Yamaha DGX-620, personal computer (NoteWorthy Composer, MIDI Converter Studio)
