Band/artist history

I STARTED OUT FREESTYLING WHEN I WAS ABOUT 17 WITH A FRIEND OF MINE. WE WOULD PUT A CD WITH BEATS ON IT IN ONE BOOMBOX AND A BLANK TAPE IN THE OTHER THEN PRESS "RECORD" WHILE FREESTYLING INTO THE MICROPHONE ON THE BOOMBOX! PRETTY SHITTY QUALITY AND ALL KINDS OF OTHER PROBLEMS BUT HEY WE WERE HAVIN A FUCKIN BLAST! WE DID THIS SHIT FOR LIKE 2 YEARS STRAIGHT EVERY NIGHT. SAME BEATS OVER AND OVER. SOMETIMES EVEN SAME TAPES GOT RECORDED OVER. THEN I MOVED OUT OF THAT HOUSE TO A NEW CITY ME AND MY BOY STOPPED CHILLIN AS MUCH AND THE BOOMBOX RECORDING DAYS WERE AS GOOD AS OVER.. STILL INTERESTED IN DOING THIS MUSIC THING I WAS CONSTANTLY LOOKING FOR WAYS TO HOOK UP WITH ANYBODY THAT COULD SET ME UP RECORDING AGAIN. THATS WHEN I MET MY HOMIE YUNG HAZE AT A JOB WE WORKED TOGETHER. HE WAS A PRODUCER AND ASKED ME IF I WANTED TO COME BY ONE NIGHT AND HEARD HIS BEATS. OF COURSE I SAID FUCK YEAH! SO AFTER WORK ONE NIGHT ME AND A FEW HOMIES GO OVER TO THIS DUDES HOUSE AND EVERYBODY IS INSIDE GETTIN FUCKED UP FREESTYLIN. NEEDLESS TO SAY THATS ALL THAT I COULD DO AT THE TIME. I DIDNT KNOW SHIT ABOUT MESAURES OF A BEAT WHERE A HOOK GOES OR VERSE. BUT EVENTUALLY HAZE AND I DECIDED WE WANTED TO WORK TOGETHER. AGAIN ME AND A HOMIE OF MINE DOIN IT ON OUR OWN BUT THIS TIME THERE WAS NO BOOMBOXES. WE HAD ANOTHER HOMIE OF MINES COMPUTER AND WE WOULD D/L THE BEATS AND RECORD WITH SHITTY COMPUTER MICS ON TRIAL VERSION RECORDING PROGRAMS. AFTER A FEW MONTHS OF DOIN THIS WE DEVELOPED A SMALL FANBASE THROUGH MYSPACE AND THE LOCAL AREA. WELL HAZE MOVED BACK TO HIS HOMETOWN OF ATLANTA AND THAT LEFT ME ONCE AGAIN BACK ON MY OWN TRYING TO DO THIS THING STILL! EVENTUALLY I SAVED UP ENOUGH TO BUY A MIC AND THOUGH HAZE WAS IN ATLANTA HE WAS STILL HELPIN ME IN ANYWAY POSSIBLE. I GOT MY HANDS ON A DECENT RECORDING PROGRAM ON THE SAME COMPUTER WE USED BEFORE AND STARTED DOIN THIS THING ALL ON MY OWN FOR THE FIRST TIME. THANKS TO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCES AND HOURS OF PRACTICE IT SEEMED A LITTLE EASIER THIS TIME AROUND. I KNEW WHAT IW AS DOING AND IT FELT GOOD TO BE ABLE TO DO IT ON MY OWN. AT THIS TIME I WAS LIVIN WITH MY BOY WHOSE COMPUTER I WAS USIN WHEN OUT OF NOWHERE HE DECIDES HE IS MOVIN TO FUCKIN COLORADO! AGHHHH FUCK HERE WE GO AGAIN...WELL HE DID MOVE... BUT BEIN THE GOOD FRIEND THAT HE IS HE LEFT ME WITH HIS COMPUTER KNOWING I NEEDED IT TO BE ABLE TO DO MY MUSIC WITH.. PRETTY FUCKIN DOPE RIGHT? ANYWAYS LONG STORY SHORT NOW IM JUST DOIN IT ON MY OWN ALL ME NO LABEL NO NOTHIN. IF YOU WANNA DO SOMETHIN WITH ME JUST GET AT ME IM ALWAYS DOWN TO HELP OUT OTHER ASPIRING ARTISTS BECAUSE I KNOW HOW IT GOES. I GUESS THATS IT FOR NOW! PEACE!
