ReadyMade Memories is a Trip-rock/Emo/Pop rock one man band from Eugene and Portland Oregon. People's fav Emo/trip-rock personality does it again with his current band ReadyMade Memories. His new cd Rebel with out a Clause is fun yet keeps the coming of age lyrics fresh. His strong messages in songs like Twisted Wires or Belmont Town leave you wanting more. He proves that he knows how to rock on “Is this Love” with searing distorted synths. Emerson Star is truly has out done him self with his new band ReadyMade Memories.Band/artist history
Readymade Memories is and indie band with ties to emo, rock, experimental, and drum and base. We have been called “a branch of indie rock that’s connected to techo beat”. I don’t know if I would go that far.
Currently we are recording our first full length CD called “Rebel without a Clause”. This release is due out in May of 2009. “Rebel without a Clause” has already generated a stir do to a small east coast tour and recent myspace buzz. We expect to see a lot more as release gets closer.
ReadyMade Memories is the baby of Emerson Anderson or just Em. He works along side Shane Fortner and Dave Camarda. Shane and Dave were in a band Called “DnS Alive” before the disbanding in early 2008. ReadyMade Memories just finished a small east coast tour consisting of New York, Virgina beach, Washington DC, and Chicago.
Co-founder David Cisler of Close Your Eyes Productions said, “ReadyMade Memories is great on mp3 but awesome live!”. Along with our upcoming release of “Rebel without a Clause” we will tour the west coast in summer of 2009. With spectacular visuals and great music, the tour is not to be missed.Have you performed in front of an audience?I play live as much as I can. It's kind of a a bummer when I am at home I want to be on the road. When I am on the road I get a bit home sick. I guess we're never happy huh? I do love being on the road.

I use a dearmond m-75 with one suhr pickup and one ducan 59. I also use a stock 90's sheraton and a tricked out tele special. It has a JB in the bridge and a texas special in the neck. They go though a 67 bassman with 2x12 green back cab. Lots of effects... like big muff, ax3000g, old cry baby fuzz wah (awesome)... too many... I use also use reason alot.
