The O.J.L. big band is an 18 peice big band
4 trumpets, 4 trombones, 6 Saxes, Bass, Drums, piano, guitar, singer. lead trumpet is Hugo Alves he is also the bands musical director.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
we're only 2 years old.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
All the time we give concerts 1 a montrh at Stevie Rays jazz bar, plus around 8 times a year at the Lagos cultural centre, and various other venues.

Frank Foster, Thad Jones, Sammy Nestico, most of the great big banders.
