first of all, one imported thing to remember is that those versions/mixes arent the same as the one thats gonna appear on the CD, wich we hope will be avilabel during the summer of 2006...

the Punx In Parkas (P.!.P) is a MoDulated li'l combo, generated from three totally different band; The End (pure modrevival from the early 1980's), Jamboree (psych-beat from mid 1980s) & A.P.A (orginal 1977 punk).
In March 2006 they transformed from a dynamic duo to a tremelous trio so that they could play live, in order to fullfill the requests from their groving incrowd of fans. the lineup today is Carl Brandt guitar/song, Patric Bergh guitar/song, Claes Fredriksson bas/song & D:r Oh No on drums, and as their very own Billy Preston (guestorganist) they've got Markas Oreglia .
They are a coverband, tributing their favs from the mid 60's like; ol' northern soul, motown, and band as the Creation, the Action, Small Faces & the Who among others. even though they do write songs of their own is it mainly the roots thats important. At the moment they are planning to record som of their own track to a swedish garage-compilation. During this summer, as i said earlier, they are about to drop their 10 track CD including "Midnite Hour", "Makin' Time" "I Keep On Holdin' On" & more and it probably gonna be called "Total Modness", for further info 'bout wich songs that will be included please go to:

ol' shool mod like artwoods, creation, act!on, small faces, the Who & the mod revival with band as Secret Affair, Chords, lambrettas, makin' time, the Jam, killermeters and the punx of course all the 1977 scen in general but sex pistols specially, and some avantgardists like Public image Ltd, Residents, suicide, chrome and Captain Beefheart... we could go on 4 ever & ever here but that would be kinda boring...What equipment do you use?
