Music has been an influence in the lives of these talented producers from as far as they can remember. From their youth, each of them reminisce about their mothers' always having the radio on in the kitchen playing the top 40, pops played his classic soul/R&B/Reggae/Calypso vinyls. POT States: "Music is something that is universal to the world and therapeutic to each individual who made it their own."
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
We really love music and wanted to do more but never knew what to do or what steps to take. Some of us were rappers at first and some of us went the university route after highschool. The opportunity really arose for them when Kemar Munroe (Keelo Gramz) began recording his first full solo album with DaiLo Recordings. They felt that God gave them a gift in music and they were wasting it on doing nothing. At that moment, they realized that one missed opportunity would be something they would regret in life and approach their marketing and music with that in mind always. Thus, the spawn of P.O.T. Productions which stands for Product of Toronto compiled of 6 producers and engineers. A major influence and thanks to our mentor Sheldon Moore (S-LuV) who showed us the essentials of producing and engineering while he worked on Keelo's first album. Today, our production house has recorded and produced many tracks for local talent, and industry artists, and has branched off into film, television and commercials. What the future holds is limitless. For us, there is always room to improve, to learn and to master sound.

Your musical influences
These producers grew up learning piano, drums and trumpet, a few played with their siblings turntables while making homemade mix tapes of various music that soon evolved to include their own raps. Marijuana has been a huge part of these producers lives each of them remember smoking a J while listening to all different types of genres and really taking in the difference of the music.
