I'm a guitarist/songwriter from the UK with a bedroom recording studio.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I haven't really gotten anywhere! I started getting into writing/recording my own music around 9 years ago, started off with some very poorly produced demos and I've learned over time to get them sounding better.
Your musical influences
Lots of metal bands - Periphery are the main influence on my sound. Also, bands like the Dillinger Escape Plan, Architects, Northlane, Killswitch Engage, Animals as Leaders, Glassjaw, Paramore, Funeral for a Friend, the list goes on and on.
What equipment do you use?
Line 6 Helix LT for guitars, Getgood Drums for drum samples, Eurobass and Neural DSP plugins for bass tones. I use a mac running Cubase, and I have Jackson, Charvel, ESP LTD and Kiesel guitars. 6 and 7 strings, mainly 6 though.
