Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Plastic Mojo is a an evolving musical experiment that began in the early 1980's. The original concept was titled "Doctor Torture". Early works were recorded on analog cassettes and later sessions were captured on analog 4-tracks and digital PC audio cards. I retired the Doctor Torture name in 1998 and began recording as Plastic Mojo. Since 2009, Plastic Mojo has focused on surf guitar tunes.
Note: around 2013 another "Plastic Mojo" surfaced on Face Book claiming to be the "original" Plastic Mojo, but they are not anyway associated with my Plastic Mojo project. I guess they didn't check here before picking a name. Anyway, they play some pretty good blues, so check them out.

Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, The Jam, The Kinks, The Who, Guess Who, King Crimson, Velvet Underground, Beach Boys, Simon and Garfunkle, Talking Heads, Police, B-52s, Thin Lizzy, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Steely Dan, etc
What equipment do you use?
Real guitars, bass and keyboards. Mostly Hydrogen and Buzz for drums and other programmed sounds.
