Band/artist history
Craig began playing music as soon as he was old enough to pull the pots and pans from his mother's kitchen cabinets. After a long stint in the 82nd Airborne Division and a tour in the Gulf War, he needed to find a way to exorcise his demons. When traditional therapy failed him, he turned to songwriting. After short spells in several bands, he met his artistic match in lead guitarist Mikey Crowell. Together they formed Paul Palson Collusion in 2008. Seizing upon the opportunity provided by the economic downturn, he began devoting himself full time to his music career. Channeling his teen angst into music, it soon became apparent to others that Mikey had a special gift. Discovered wandering the shores of Lake Michigan like a vagabond prodigy, he was quickly recruited into the local music scene. It was then that he was to meet his true love, the electric guitar. For years thereafter he played in cover bands, scorching the local scene, but always feeling as if he wanted more. He quit playing in bands and turned his talent and attention inward, exploring what he and Jeannie, his best "girl", had to offer. A turn of fortune's wheel brought him into contact with Craig and a musical collusion was born. Mikey's technical expertise and command of his instrument, combined with Craig's vision and lyrical gifts, have meshed to create a truly unique and powerful band, the Paul Palson Collusion.
