I am so excited about collaborating with soprano Maribel Villarroel and arranger and pianist René Calderón. The lyrics are from the Pablo Neruda poem "Puedo Escribir" in the book "Twenty Love Poems and a Song of Despair". Translated by W.S Merwin.

Our house in Cleveland faces a beautiful creek and is surrounded by trees. A beautiful silver Owl often, taking refuge near our house during the day. At night I can hear him sing to the moon, to the stars. I composed this song to sing with him.
