YungMike was born in the heart of Memphis,Tennesse on October 10, 1992. As a kid, moving around alot was'nt easy, but he had plenty of opportunities to hear and develope diffrent genres of music. Music like Country, Rock, Rap and Hip-Hop.
On April of 1993, YungMike moved to Benton, Kentucky. Around this time, his family's taste of music was country. Influences like uncles, grandfathers, and even his mother, influenced him to expand his music even further. This is how his music career started!
At a young age of 6 years old, YungMike moved to Paducah Kentucky. At this point in his life, he was interested in country/rock music. Even at such a young age, he wanted for others to listen to his production of music. So his influences introduced him to the acoustic guitar. He played for about 2 years and stopped because he found a new way to be heard. And that's threw sound recording!
At the age 12, YungMike recorded his first track with a local producer, "Joe Green" of "Southtown Ent.". This track consisted of: Lil' Joe, Lil' Shawn (Don Juan), Lil' Dustin, and YungMike himself called, "I Do What I Do". All his life he wanted "one chance" to be heard by the world. This is when he took his chance!
After his first track, YungMike decided to purchase his own equipment and try to make it on his own. With help from Josh Peppers(BigJosh), Joe Green(Lil' Joe), Shawn Beach(Lil' Shawn) and David Henry(Ghost), He was finally getting heard!
Developing skills and Intensive lyrics, YungMike became who he is today! Over 1,500 fans, 200,000 plays and 140,000 views, becoming a top artist on both myspace and soundclick. He has finally made it!
