Obioma

Hi, I am Obioma, the producer and solo artist for this webpage. Actually, my band is a one-man band at the moment, which means both beats, lyrics and vocal are done by me. I only get other vocals when needed. I grew up playing drums and singing at my local Parish church.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I grew up singing, dancing and playing some musical instruments, mostly, drums. I sang too and still continue to sing. My band is in the making.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, I play live when duty calls such as church fellowships and ceremonies. It is wonderful. One time, I played nonstop for about two good hours.
Your musical influences
I grew up singing, dancing and playing drums. During one of my internships as an undergrad, I got inspired to start putting songs together. At the time, I figured it would be better if I can learn how to go about with it until my roommate came up with a wonderful idea. From there, came the first track, "Do you mind?" I play drums (any) and piano. I write, compose, sing and produce songs. My musical influences stem from gospel and christian music. I learned how to rap by reading and praying with the Book of Psalms in the bible.
What equipment do you use?
Computer, Piano, headphones and mic.
Anything else?
