Band/artist history
Well, my given name is Leroy Lavare Davis, IV, I'm from Riviera Beach Florida aka Da Raw. I been making muzik since I was about 12 or 13. Me & my lil brother Mond (R.I.P.) had a playskool karaoke (lol) we used to freestyle on while one of us would beat on the table or whatever was available to beat on. I later started doing shows with my cousins James & Robert & our homeboy David Paulk (Long Live Profit Nydal). Man, we went through like 3 group names until we settled with "PBC Passion." After that, I formed a group called Ghetto Mercenary (which was one of the names me & my cousins used) when I was like 15 or 16 with 2 of my childhood friends Marvel Saffold & Charles Hunter (Slikk 50) & the rest was history.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yea, plenty of times. It was this one time down at the Miami Live venue, shit was all fucked that night. The DJ was nowhere to be found so they had one of the bouncers trying to DJ the event. Maaaaaaan when I tell you this nigga kept either turning down or turning the muzik off during people performance & just all throughout the night to answer his phone.
Your musical influences
To be honest I ain't really have nobody I could look up to & say I wanna be like him. Getting family out of poverty was my only influence I had growing up.
What equipment do you use?
Naw playboy I don't play instruments, I just rap over them.
