FAQ
Why would I need a license?
A license is needed if you want to use the music for anything else than just listening for your pleasure. Typical uses are
- freestyling over a beat
- licensing music for use in TV or for a movie
- remixing or use audio samples
What are the license options and what are the differences between those?
We offer up to 5 license templates (Basic, Premium, Track Out, Unlimited, Exclusive) and it's up to the artist which ones he/she wants to make available. Each license comes with different perks. In general, the higher the price, the better the perks.
You can click on each feature on the left side of the comparison chart above to learn more about each one.

When will I get the track I purchased?
You can download all related files immediately after your purchase. We also email you a one-time download link for a download later.
How can I remove the audio tag from the track?
A "tagged beat" is a demonstration version of an instrumental that contains distinct audio watermarks that typically play throughout the entire track. The purpose of a producer tagging his/her instrumental is to prevent piracy and to encourage serious recording artists to purchase a license.
To get a tag-free audio please make sure you purchase a license which features "untagged audio".

I purchased a $1 download, why is the beat still tagged?
Beats purchased for $1 in our store are meant for streaming and demo use only, just like downloads from iTunes store or Amazon music.
To license a beat without audio tag and to use in a professional manner please buy a license from this page. Usually those are $25 and up.

What is a stem / trackout file?
A Stem file is an audio file that contains a track split into several musical elements: A drums stem, a bassline stem, a harmony stem, and a lead stem for example.
The Stem file also usually includes the original stereo master of the track for standard playback.
The Stem file also usually includes the original stereo master of the track for standard playback.
Why would I need a stem / trackout file?
A trackout file gives you much better control. Imagine you rap over a beat and you realize the percussions take the focus away from your vocals. With a trackout file
you can simply tone down the percussion and the focus is now on the vocals. With a trackout file you have much more flexibility and a whole different level of control.

Band/artist history
I love listening to and composing music, especially in the Jazzy, ambient, bassy, beat, string genre. I prefer to create compositions with no fixed boundaries. My mother played all of the sophistocated jazz/vocals classics of the 50's and 60's, along with those Hollywood musicals, I was fascinated by Fred Astaire...those beats and his incredible timing! I was soaked in all the color of Piano/Guitar/Strings and Syncopated rhythms. From then on I began messing about on Guitar and Piano at school. After seeing Enter the Dragon in the early seventies with Lalo Schiffrin's classic film score, I was hooked on the style and feel of his music. I have my sister to thank for introducing me to Burt Bacharach's beautiful compositions. With the explosion of Disco, Funk, and Jazzfunk..it was a great time to be involved in the club scene. The first live band I saw was Betty Wright and the Cleanup men around '75, I was in my element! Enter the eighties....I bought an Ensoniq SQ1 and an Atari 1040 ste, along with stiff fingers and plenty of passion and ideas, I got busy using the one and only Emagic Creator/Notator sequencer, in my opinion one of the best music software platforms of that era.

Norman, I am glad you headed me to your new one!!! :D
It is beautiful in my opinion! A extraordinary intro ( classy keys), slow growing build up, a clear idea (theme) developed in such a clever way. Masterfully arranged and mixed instrumentations, but, the vocals-fx parts own a special timbre and drive. A surprise for me was the part at about 02:19 (male singers loop)! I love the originality of this part!!!
Just like your last tune I commented before, it was a pure relaxation and musical joy listening to all the 10 minutes long, not a second of dull!! WOW!! Respect Norman, my kudos to you!! :-)
Cheers to the music.
Excellent one! I am glad Alexander Port pointed me to this!!! This is oustanding, well elaboreted and builded up: .....splendid Rhodes & Bass work!! 15 minutes of pure pleasure and listening enchantements. Really excellent!! :)
Wow, this has got such a vibe. That start is again very fantastic, making me very curious what will happen next.
There is such a nice groove in here. Enjoyable!
And now I'm listening further. Yes I agree, the intro is really superb.
This one has got such a "driving the car" feeling, a very very long, empty highway in the middle of the night.
Very cool!
Oh, I'm a fan of this track for so long, glad I found it back on the charts. This is just pure inspiration.
I like the time you are taking for it, the very slow, cool, relaxed building up.
And now I'm just enjoying it very much.
