We are hoping that Nomeus Music will grow and prosper. That would be very nice. Also, we want you to listen to Nomeus Music and pass it around. Thank you.
Band/artist history
Nomeus Music is a pan-dimensional and Metro Detroit-based audio ensemble who sorta spun off of the whole Shrimpanzee thing. Kind of like that movie Basket Case. You ever see that? The first one is freaky-good, but the sequels are much too cutesy.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We're based in the Southeast Michigan area (as well as a section of the 16th demension). That's where we've been playing. It's okay here. The cold is miserable. We'll have to think about the special moments to see if they really are special.
Your musical influences
John Coltrane, Black Flag, Frank Zappa, Gong, Miles Davis, Ween, Butthole Surfers, the Flaming Lips, Magma, Soft Machine, Fred Frith, Will Elder, Don Martin, Stereolab and many others.
What equipment do you use?
guitars, basses, keyboards, drums, voices, etc...
Anything else?
oh yeah, we like to improvise. we're hoping to incorporate more sounds and personalities into the mix as we go. we were born to go.
