**Overview:**
Nephets, born on January 24, 2000, raised in Benoni, South Africa, is a rising hip-hop artist known for his impactful lyrics and versatile style. He began rapping at the age of 15 and gradually took his passion seriously, leading to a series of successful music projects that showcase his talent and growth.
**Early Career:**
Nephets launched his musical journey with the EP "**Invade Your Heart**," released on January 6, 2019, in collaboration with Uncle Bruce. Shortly after, he dropped his first solo mixtape, "**Fear of Failure**," in July 2019, which featured a notable collaboration with Kid Dox.
**Hiatus and Comeback:**
After a brief hiatus from the music scene, Nephets returned in December 2023 with a mixtape titled "**It's Beautiful**," symbolizing a transformative chapter in his life. This release marked a renewed artistic direction and a new perspective on life, resonating deeply with his audience.
**Recent Projects:**
Since his comeback, Nephets has been prolific, releasing multiple projects. Among them are "**How Could You Get Tired of Me,**" which highlights his lyrical prowess and unique cadence, and "**Menace 2 Society,**" an innovative project that pays homage to Lil Wayne by remixing and covering popular songs. He has hinted that "**Menace 2 Society Vol 2**" may drop before December 2024 or early 2025.
In collaboration with fellow rapper Lil Head, he released the EP "**Dirty South,**" featuring standout tracks like "**Playing With Fire,**" "**Smith Kino 3,**" and "**All Holy.**" This project further showcases his ability to blend styles and collaborate seamlessly with other artists.

Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
It started at school in grade 9 writing exams. When we were done writing whatever paper we were writing, we started writing bars dissing each other on notes with my homies back then.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yea I have performed infront of an audience. It was terrifying at first but it gets better with time. My first show was at Church, they were hosting a talent show like event.
Your musical influences
I'm most likely influenced by the likes of Lil Wayne,Eminem, J. Cole, Nas, Kendrick Lamar, A-Reece, K.O and oh Travis Scott. They've shaped my approach and energy/vibe to the music. And I love their work ethic, it's crazy.
What equipment do you use?
I use bandlab and n-track studio for almost everything from recording music to making beats (which I recently started doing).
