I go by Nay The Producer, I'm a Female Producer/Artist/Song-writer/Audio-Engineer
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I was introduced to music at the age of 3, through my Mother. Who was apart of a West African dance company. I got my passion for music at the age of 3 when I wanted to play the drum but was too small. I was allowed to play the bell because I could stay on beat.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I have performed at Cal State East Bay, Juneteenth Richmond & San Jose, In 2013, I also appeared on the Paid Dues Music Festival with First Dirt opening up for Macklemore & Kendrick Lamar which led to the FDCA Tour.
Your musical influences
I got my influence in music from Jazz, Miles Davis, Al Jarreau, etc.
What equipment do you use?
I first started in Garage Band then Reason then Ableton. I use Protools to edit and make everything sound just right.
Anything else?
I love making melodies and hard hitting beats that you can feel!
