One-man band using an acoustic-electric guitar, two electrics, a bass guitar, and drum pad/kit on a recorder.
I once thought of getting an electronic keyboard... except I really don't know how to play the piano. The family piano was sold when I was around 8 years old because none of my older siblings were really using it after a few years of lessons. But that led me to playing the guitar after some introductory lessons from my sister.
I was a cry-baby, sang nursery rhymes as a toddler, learned to whistle when I was 7 years old, played do-re-mi on a harmonica at 8, on the guitar at 12. I tried playing bass in high school, and joined a number of singing groups. Tried the violin when my daughter started learning the instrument. And now here I am--- a weekend basement self-proclaimed musician.
I play live all the time --- in our basement.
