Welcome to Mountain Aire Old Time Music. My wife and I would like to thank you for taking the time to browse our music. We have been playing Mountain Dulcimers since 2004 and have added several other acoustic instruments to our list. We really enjoy playing Old Time and Traditional music from the Appalachian Mountains as well as Gospel and early Bluegrass.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We play regularly at a local elderly health care home and also play at Chruch events, music jamborees, and many other state wide events.
Our special moment was opening for a music jamboree last year. We were invited to play as a walk on and after much debate accepted. Debate you say? Absolutely, we had never been on stage and had never played in front of more than 20 people before. We opened the show, did a 4 song set and were honered with a huge ovation. That was special for us.
Your musical influences
Henry Reed, the great old time fiddler. The fiddle tunes out of the Appalachian Mountains inspired us to start playing the Mountain Dulcimer.
What equipment do you use?
Appalachian Mountian Dulcimer, Fiddle, Guitar, Mandolin and Baritone Ukulele.

Nice music! I just got a mountain dulcimer a couple of weeks ago and am attempting to learn to play it, so it was nice to hear how well it can sound. Keep strummin'! Jan
