I'm Montice Harmon. The King of Spokenword/poetry. I've been performing since the age of 8, writing since the age of 12, published at the age of 13. A bestselling author/poet before the age of 25.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I've been writing music since the age of 12. I started off writing poetry turning it into musical songs. At the age of 24, I released a collection of poetry I later turned into a Spokenword album.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
My first performance ever was my favorite and it was when I was 9 years old. I performed a song by Brandy called "Baby," and "I Wanna Be Down." At a summer camp in Norman Park Georgia.
Your musical influences
My biggest influences are Stevie Wonder, Brandy, Luther Vandross, Whitney Houston and Babyface.
What equipment do you use?
I'm currently playing the violin.
