Band/artist history

Mista' YOUNGBLOOD grew up in a very small town in the Central California where agriculture was the main source of the towns income. A country boy!
His mother was the church choir president, hence the reason he lead songs in front of congregations that seated more than 500 people at one time. 
After he moved to Los Angeles and graduated from college, he decided to reside in LA and concentrate on his music.
Show after show, recording after recording, Mista' YOUNGBLOOD still remains humble about his craft and continues to write and perform.

Your musical influences

YOUNGBLOOD's father played music like Bobby "Blue" Bland, The Ohio Players and Isaac Hayes. His mother played gospel music ranging from Edwin Hawkins to Shirley Ceasar. But when he discovered Donny Hathaway, his eyes and ears found a sound like no other and has since been deeply influenced by Donny Hathaway's voice.
