MISTA KISTA - Co-Founder and Member of the REBEL NATION ENT. Hip Hop Rapper/Producer that recently converted to Chrisitian Rapper. A journey that started like most rappers. An artist that just wanted to show and prove his talent for words. In the process, Mista Kista started to produce and make instrumentals. 1st a few basic beats and gradually begin to home his skills to brings to the table more intricate production skills. As years past and He grown and became more wiser to the ways of Jesus Christ. During Covid Pandemic, Mista Kista decide with the guidance of The Lord to pursue and produce Christian Rap, which was always a part of his older repertoire of music in the past. But knowing how close the end is, and feeling the nudge of the Holy Spirit to turn from circular style of Rap and push Kingdom Music and give warnings to the masses to prepare for Revelations.
It started off with me and my partner Soldier C. getting an idea to start a Label. Of course like most artist we originally was just fooling around with raps and creating material just for fun. But the idea came to why not just form a Unit under the banner Rebels. Rebel Records which with the addition of other artist joining changed to Rebel Nation. This was back in the early 2000's. So the fooling around turned into formulated songs. Being from the golden age of Hip Hop our main stance was Real Hiphip, lyrical style and authentic versions of each individual lives surrounding our Bay Area life. Of course the braggadocious lyrics as well as street life living combine to create some amazing music. My journey evolved into political/spiritual conspiracy minded music after reading books by a guy named Texe Marrs. With my mothers Christian spiritualism that she made sure she embedded into me and brothers early, it stuck to combine some of my intense warning music. 15 years later that music is coming to flourishing today. Which had me to put out this album now PRAISE & WARNINGS!!! As i evolved spiritual and became closer and more aware of Jesus Christ presence in my life, my focus has now become more on being a true follower of Christ and to now have my music reflect such.

Well let's see. There's so many but from the production perspective, I have to say that Dr. Dre is high up (Although he looses point with me if the jackin of beat rumor I keep hearing is true), DJ Quik, Pete Rock, DJ Premier, Exotic D (hit me as a really overlooked production. Did D.O.C. 2nd album Helter Skelter). EA-SKI is the man. If u don't know now u know. Because of SKI I started producing. Back in early 90's this man was making beats like Dr. Dre with that real eerie sounds added make the beat more dramatic. Was the hardedst beat maker along side Dre to me. Was from the Bay but got recognized more outside the Bay. At least I rembr from Suave House Records, Mr Mike and other production on South Circle (Don't remember Suave House - Eightball & MJG started here) Oh THX is good. Did production on Snoops album and graciously hook ur boy up with one on GP (Golden Rules) on my album Mission complete). Oh Soopafly and Daz of Dog Pound. Go back to Marley Marl, BDP. Like the new ones too like Timberland is tight as hell to me, Kanye is cool,
I use Reasons to create my beats/instrumentals. Also to record some of my vocals. To finalize i use a software called Magix which i been using for years to adjust and clean up my vocals
