I am a one-woman production team. My creativity ranges from making smooth jazz background tracks for solo instrumentalists to the club bangin sounds of hip hop. I classify my style as Classical Dirty Souf Hip Hop. I say that because I mix my many years of playin the violin, listenin to classical and jazz music and music theory with the intricate drum patterns and bass lines the South is known for. I can't say I sound like any one producer and that's a good thing. I'm not tryin to be like anybody else... I'm tryin to do me... Miss KSimone.

'02-'03 School Year- Attended Middle Tennessee State University where my major was Recording Industry Production and Technology with minors in Music and Mass Communications. During that time I started getting myself familiar with the production and engineering side of the music industry, so I took my knowledge of music theory and started making beats.- Murfreesboro, TN.
Spring 2004- Moved to Phoenix, AZ.
05/04 to 01/05- Attended and graduated from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences where I studied Audio Engineering. Graduated with a 3.2 GPA.- Tempe, AZ.

12/06- KSimone Productions in the beginning stages of development.- Murfreesboro, TN.
03/07- Moved back to Phoenix, AZ and put music on hold for a minute.
11/07- I'm currently gathering all necessary connections I need to get my music into the hands of people who will actually take a chance on me. I'm getting myself even more educated about the industry because, to be honest, I ain't goin into this thing unprepared. Hopefully, within the next few months, yall will hear my name come up more in conversations...
10/08- Right now, I'm still makin music as you can tell from the new tracks above. As much as I know my talent will get recognized on a major level one day, I'm not blind to reality. With the way the economy is right now, my priorities have shifted to survival because we live in a world full of bad guarantees. I'm still sellin beats at good prices. BFATSTRACKS.COM is still in full affect and if you wanna hear some of the hottest producers in Nashville and Phoenix go check the site. Get at ya girl and we can talk biz, but I was just lettin yall know where I'm standin right now.
03/09- NETWORKIN! NETWORKIN! NETWORKIN! NETWORKIN! NETWORKIN! We're in a recession, tru, but that's not gonna stop me from gettin my name and music out there. I've been talkin to quite a few people who do various things musically and I have several good opportunities I could pursue. I gonna pursue all of them because my momma always told me to never put all my eggs in one basket, so that's what I'm NOT gonna do. I haven't been makin beats as frequently as I'd like, but like I said before... we're in a recession and life comes first. As far as networkin is concerned, I'm only lookin to work with SERIOUS people because I feel God has given me a talent I can't waste and I want the world to hear the gift He's given me ya dig? All that bein said, I'm open to new connections so hit me up if you wanna talk biz. Holla at ya girl cuz I gotta go hit the 9 to 5 now :-)

Yeah it's been a VERY long time, however, when God is cookin He's doesn't rush it. I've been thru A LOT these past 2 years and it's only made me more mature. I stopped makin beats for a while, but now I've got my music mojo back and I'm gettin it in with a vengeance! Imma make my mark in the industry as a bad @$$ female producer. Mark my words and look out for Miss KSimone. That is all. :-)
Have you performed in front of an audience?
No I don't play live. I haven't played on a stage in years to be honest. Last time I was on stage, I was part of a group that was opening for Trina and I was playin the violin.
Your musical influences
Beethoven (anyone who can compose beautiful music and is deaf is an inspiration to me because I'm partially deaf), DJ Paul and Juicy J of Three 6 Mafia, Timbaland, Manny Fresh, Jazzy Phae, Just Blaze, Swizz Beatz, etc.
What equipment do you use?
Fruity Loops 10
Anything else?
