Miss Helen And Abow Jenkins Band
I met Abow and Karen Jenkins about a year and 6 months
ago at the Pelham Ga. they asked me to join their
band and sing gospel for them, of course i sing country
and bluegrass also, songs that I wrote.
We have performed some apro. sixty concerts and plan
to continue.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Abow Jenkins has been in Country Music for some 50 years.
He was seventeen years old when He started singing and playing.
the guiatars and I use this in the pural as he plays many different
types. He finds old guitars and revives them and they sound beautiful.
He has written many song for Capital Records
He mostly sang at various night clubs across the US
His band changed members over the years but he's still going strong.
