Im Mirriam K Musonda-Salati, a UK-Zambian gospel/worship artist and founder of MKMS Records. My journey started in prayer circles, youth choirs, and tiny living-room worship moments where I learned that songs can be both sanctuary and sword comfort for the heart and language for faith. I wrote devotionals, then began shaping them into worship songs, Afro-gospel praise, R&B-soul devotionals, and spoken-word scripture meditations. Bit by bit, I built a library of music and prayers for people who want to stay steady and unshaken through real life.
I started by recording simple scripture prayers and short declarations, then layering gentle keys and pads underneath. The hard part wasnt gearit was finding a sound that felt true and useful. Over time my music widened: from quiet devotionals to joyful Afro-gospel rhythms, from solo reflections to community worship moments.
