Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Driven by his desire to be the most in-demand producer, Chicago's Mike Myers is determined to change the sound of radio. Myers was raised on Chicago's southside and believes the next musical movement will take place there and he wants to be a part of it. His influences are Timbaland, Dr. Dre, J DILLA, Pete Rock, Diamond D, Just Blaze, and Premo. Mike's signature sound evolves around claps and congos. His mastery of chopping samples is an element that sets him apart from other producers.
Artists' feel no fear of trying new things when Mike is assisting them with projects. "I have a new vision for hip hop," stated Mike and it can be heard in tracks for Ice Berg, Cap 1 aka Richie Rich, Rhymefest, and R. Kelly's "Blow It Up" featuring Young Jeezy and Young Dro. "I started rapping before I was producing and I couldn't find no one who made beats. I got tired of rapping over industry instrumentals." So he began record digging and found what he needed in progressive rock, library, reggae, soul and these ingredients can be easily recognized in his beats.
Mike along with the other members of All Aboard Entertainment hope to build a brand.
