Playing the guitar and singing along to the record player at home grew my love of music when I was growing up. I have to say the music teachers and professionals who took their love of music and time to teach have enriched my life. It translated to singing all types of music from Musicals, Standards, Opera, Country and Cowboy music. (sorry no rap).Band/artist history
I wish I could say my history is really exciting but it had bits and pieces. I have sung as a soloist in Russia, German and the US. I have been blessed to have soloed in church and have produced my one woman show as well as a Christmas show each year. I love to play my guitar and sing with the cowboy band at the Empty Saddle Club for the past couple years for their Annual Cowboy Music and Poetry Festival.
I performed a one woman show called "Love Stages" which chronicals my love life in a story filled with musical drama. It was fun to create and perform.
I am currently engaged in staging a one woman show called "Italian HeartStrings". It will include fun Italian Music and include several classical songs from Italian Operas. I have had the opportunity to work with Aaron Blake, who is currently signing with the Metropolitan Opera, to help me get ready for the challenging music. The show will include audio visual pictures of Italy and a dinner / show concept. Your musical influences
One voice teacher, Annette Warren Smith has been a mentor and teacher. She has been brutally honest with making sure that I connect with the heart and not just the vocal technique. My friend Gene Egidio who toured and allowed me to open with songs to audiences in Saint Petersburg, and Moscow, Frankfurt, Germany as well as the United States. Church music about God and Spirit and Jesus Christ has always filled me with reverence to perform the message of Love. What an honor!Anything else?
