This is a new tune from a band I have started playing with. The name of the band is Midnight Blue. When things get a little farther with the recording process I will set up a seperate site for the band. Members are Brad Spake on bass, Al Flores on Drums, Demectrio Moreno on Lead and rhythm guitar, and myself Marshall Williams on lead guitar, rhythm, fiddle and harmonica. We all sing so this should be a fun band. This first song is written and song by Brad. The rest of us just sat back and had a good time just playing along and singing backups.
What Do You Think About That

Hello Michael,
"WHAT KIND OF FOOL AM I" is still running in my random, so i have to tell you i listen to an awesome style, i got to stop with pleasure for that.
I add "MONKEY CHASER" to grow my "American Way of Life's station, this stuff being as worth. Good bass solo and 4/4 exchanges, rhythmics permutations in the drums fills are amazing,
keep in touch

Monkey Chaser: Very nice. I look forward to listening to even freer, crazier stuff as you continue to get loose and find your cozmic "I don't give a sh***"-ness.
Beeeeeyoootiful tone, BTW.

hey Man
Not bad! You guys are playing some pretty slick stuff here.Keep practicing and keep playing live as much as possible and you will continue to become a better improvisor.I dig it though it's pretty hip.

Great, Anything with that swing beat from Wills to Leon.
Look forward to it. Love the music more than the words but that's just me

Yea, I didn't know if you where leaning more towards the style that Bob Wills did or newer style like George Strait or maybe Asleep At The Wheel. I love the guitar work Clint Strong did with Haggard. Anyways I have something started lyric wise that has a pretty good hook to it . We'll see if I can't get it up in the next week or so.

Naw. Hell I didn't know there was different styles of western swing.
Like early George Straight, or the stuff Clint Strong played on with haggard.
Even old style, like when what's his name had 2 or 3 clarinets, 3 fiddles, and everyone played big band parts. Leon Macallaffe (sp)
i was actully raised on that stuff. great jazz can and is be played over that.
The vocals is what captivate me,because of the silkiness. I also love the Jazz Guitar within the track. Excellent!!!
