Michael David Casey is a cutting edge Christian Songwriter and Singer of various genres working to further the Kingdom of God. As a teenager, he became a member of the Rock band "Asylum". A few years later he became a member of the Country Rock band "The Reeves Brothers". He has been writing and singing songs of various genres, mostly Christian and Country, since his teenage years.Band/artist history
I was previously a member of the Rock band "Asylum". I later became a member of the Country Rock band "The Reeves Brothers". I have been involved in various genres through the years.Have you performed in front of an audience?I have had a lot experience with live performance. One time, Merl Haggard was in town for a concert he was having and it happened to be his birthday. They wanted to have a birthday party for him where we (The Reeves Brothers Band) were the house band. They invited us to the party in exchange for the privilege of using our equipment. His band intertained him by playing our instruments. Merl joined them. He didn't sing anything there that night, but did stand in front of his band playing guitar.
Your musical influences
My years in Band in Elementary, middle (William Miller), and high school (F. Lewis Jones), my years in Rock and Country Bands, in singing with Choirs, in playing, singing and recording various genres of music. Third Day, MercyMe, Michael W. Smith, Dierks Bentley, Josh Turnner, some pop music, Civil Wars, Toby Keith, Boyz II Men, Montgomery Gentry, Beatles, Bee Gees, Elvis, Wayne Casey, and many, many more..........What equipment do you use?
