MIC CORLEONE- Spawned from the hood that raised him, Jersey City, NJ, he has grown to surpass the expectations of many. Succeeding in life despite the odds and constant drama is what makes him a survivor. While the majority of people who go through life suffer, he uses his scars to make him stronger. those who have come to know him for his music have come to respect the fact that he remains humble despite the fact that he knows he has great potential. He first introduced himself to the rap game as "Emce Da Don" back when he was a teenager, but never took the music road seriously. after years of struggle, triumph, and pain he returned to his love for music. Upon his return from the United States Navy he joined friends in Atlanta, GA and Richmond, VA and began his rise. He soon found out that not everyone has the same passion to succeed as he did and chose to relocate back home to Jersey City, NJ. Rediscovering himself he chose to go with the Name "Mic Corleone" to symbolize the character in the movie "Godfather". As he could relate to the fact that they were both in the military and looked forward to a better life but some how got pulled back into the life they longed to avoid. With his in depth release of his first underground album " Story of my Life" he has gained recognition amongst some of the best who are up and coming in the rap game and looks forward to sharing the stage and becoming one of the best to ever hold it down in NJ. He has worked with some well known industry artists, (who for personal reasons he will not mention) as well as upcoming underground artists such as Zar Da Merceles, C-mere, Jon Ram, Sali B, and others. He also has been featured on internet Radio shows such as "Real Deal Radio (with Paulie Hustle), The 6fm (www.the6fm.com) with Dj Reflection, and other internet stations that reach millions per year. He's worked with well known and talented producers such as Mic Massive, Nate Nasty, Cito on the Beat, Nasty Nel, K-skillz, and WhoElze, while also being featured or mentioned on Dvd's such as "On Da Grind" "Cocaine City" and "Best of the Best Showcase". Look out for him because before you know it he will listed on the top billboards and hopefully in due time join the ranks of other great legends. "Shout outs to all my peoples doing their thing especially the dj's who spin my shit, Dj Class, Dj Lugghead, Dj Mambo, Dj Ammo, Dj Reflection, Dj Mikey Toto, Dj 201, Dj Mambi, Dj StoryTella, and any one else I forgot to mention... I'm out here in NJ tryin to put jerzey on the map for good seeing as New York seems to be branching out and using NJ as a backbone I think it's about time they recognize Jerzey as a source for untapped talent.
