"I use a Cort Neil Zaza Signature Model electric guitar.
For my amplifier, I use a Behringer V-Tone guitar amp. Its a solid-state amplifier with analog modeling, offering a variety of amp and speaker simulations. This allows me to achieve a wide range of tones."
Band/artist history
I wasnt born with natural musical talent, but my passion, discipline, and perseverance helped me grow as a guitarist.
Step by step, I mastered music theory and applied its principles to my playing. As I progressed, I explored different musical styles, always striving to improve.
For me, playing the guitar is a lifelong journey of learning.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I have performed in front of audiences as a lead guitarist with bands. What stands out for me was performing in Springs in the open air at a sports stadium. Everything around us was enveloped in darkness. In the background, nature played a part in the concert.
The atmosphere among the audience was a quiet excitement. It felt as if there was a peacefulness that prevailed. After a while, everyone's lights began to shine. It was an exceptional sight to see this over two rugby fields.
There were also times where our excitement knew no bounds. The audience felt as if they were part of the band. I can think of many such cases. But above all, the blessing that music brings to the spectators. That is the purpose of music.
Your musical influences
"B.B. King was my first guitar hero. Eager to learn his style, I bought a manual and ambitiously tried to master his technique in a month. That month stretched into many more, filled with frustrating practice. I finally accepted that B.B. King's unique talent couldn't be replicated.
Later, I discovered David Gilmour through a concert video in a music store. His playing filled me with awe, and I again attempted to imitate his style. However, I soon realized, like with B.B. King, there was only one David Gilmour.
With this lesson learned, I admired Stevie Ray Vaughan from a distance, simply enjoying his music. Now, I'm searching for a jazz guitar hero, continuing my guitar journey and learning through experience."
