Welcome to MegaPixel Music. I make music by toiling over a midi sequencer. The style of my music changes, but the general approach stays the same: Make music that sounds good.
My style is heavily influenced by video game music, and so while not exactly chip-tune... you will most likely get that impression from my music. This is why I put most of my music under the video game soundtrack genre.
If you are interested in using my music in something, or want me to make some music for you just contact me. I'd be interested in making music for any sort of music video project.
I'm also interested in collaborations with a lyricist or singer. Since all my music is purely instrumental.
Enjoy the music!

Band/artist history
I started making general midi tunes using the open source, Jazz++ software. I used this as a means to learn music theory and develop the craft of composition.
After I refining my craft for a couple of years, and actually started to make music that I enjoyed, I started to look into making music more seriously and switched to using Logic.
I have since produced music that I'm more proud of, and started teaching my self about synthesizers and more esoteric elements of sound. I studied a bit of DSP, and other heavily mathematical music topics.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Nope. I'm trying to think of ways to perform my sequenced pieces and still make it memorable.
Your musical influences
Music Theory:Video Games
They Might Be Giants:Instrumental Rock
Strong Melody:Complex Rhythms
What equipment do you use?
I use Logic Express 9, Kontakt 3 and Reaktor on a MacBook. I use a M-Audio Axiom 61, Korg Nano Key and Nano Pad.
I also write music for the Korg DS-10 on the Nintendo DS.
Plus as many free AU plugins as I can find.

You seem to be very concerned about how other people categorize your music. That's not very important because those people who judge but don't listen are full of b-s- and they have a closeminded conception of what a certain style of music should be. You seem to like composing toward the chiptune and are very good doing it, and you must like it, so that's what's important, right? Anyway, this is a nice song, given the way you limited yourself with the equipment. :)
