Houston (Eriq Hunt) was born on October 5 in Tulsa Oklahoma. At a young age he developed a passion and love for music in what it seemed like almost every genre. By age 4 he was memorising lyrics to almost every song that he heard. At age 6 Houston had moved out of Oklahoma to various states which included Arkansas Missouri and Texas. Houston's passion for music begin to grow more while he was introduced to more genres of music as he moved around. Being the only boy (and oldest) of 5 sisters he knew that his tallent for music an wordplay would not be just a hobby. As Houston got older he would carry a notepad with him everywhere he went thus gettin him in alot of trouble at school for not paying attention and writing constantly. By age 14 his skills with wordplay had gotten stronger and he was able to munipulate words. At the age of 15 Houston had already become a nuisance at school getting expelled and among other things arrested an sent to jail for possesion an distribution on school property. Houston did his time and bounced back from his troubles in 07' an independtly put out his 1st mixtape entitled Worth The Wait which was short lived. In the summer of 09' Houston attended Oklahoma State Unviversity an co-founded Block Bleedin' Productions with close friend Kyle Maynard. Houston left school an begin to better pursue his passion for music stayin up til morning everynight in the studio not to mention writing. In the summer of 2010 Houston had agreed upon a verbal contract to local independent label Creekboyz Records an did several shows with the label. Houston left Creekboyz Records shortly after joining the label. In the spring of 11' Houston released his 2nd mixtape Entitled The Takeover Vol.1 printing up over 150 copies and distributing them throughout Tulsa. Houston is currently working on his 3rd mixtape and hopes to expand his network and show everybody he's got the heart the soul and the passion to thrive in this industry and take Block Bleedin' Productions to the top!Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes but currently no gigs at the moment.
