Mbaraza Emmanuel
Mbaraza Emmy is an anointed Sudanese based Gospel artist. We are here to share the love of Christ with all.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
MBARAZA GOSPEL BAND is a music ministry started to bring young people to Christ. It was started in 2005 by Mbaraza Emmanuel who amongst others is a gifted musician, singer, song writer. The ministry began as a family based ministry with 10 members. The ministry recorded and released the first album ALPHA & OMEGA which was well-received highly by the people of Sudan mostly the ZANDE people in whose language most of the songs were composed. After relocating back to Sudan in November 2005, MGB recorded its second album NOT BY POWER. Which was released in 2006 and it is highly appreciated by many people not only in Sudan, but also Uganda, Kenya, (Even friends of us in USA have appreciated the messages in the songs).
In 2007 the ministry recorded it third album YESU LIMU NINA SAWA which means JESUS HAS UNITED US to encourage the Sudanese people on peace and unity. This album is now marketed in Uganda and most parts of Southern Sudan. A fourth album has been recorded which is yet to be released.
The target group of this ministry is youth. One boy Daniel gave his life to Jesus after attending our music concert in March 2007. We have also received many good testimonies from people who have listened to the tapes or attend our concerts.
