I am Composer/Musician/Producer from Pretoria, South Africa. I've been composing music for 14 years but have only recently decided to start going large. I released my first CD in 1996 and it sold over 1000 copies without any airtime and just from the DJ box in 1 club.
I have changed my name 2 or 3 times as old ones started sounding corny to me. I've been composing music for 25 years but since I don't expect to make music my career, my music output is irregular, to put it mildly. I released my first CD in 1996 and even though the internet didn't really lend itself to music marketing at that time, it sold over 1000 copies without any airtime and just from the DJ box in 1 club.
With the exception of about 3 years, I was a full time DJ from 1995 to 2010. I don't plan on ever performing in concert.
Although most of my tracks aren't symphonic in nature, I deem my biggest influence to be Jean Michel Jarre. As far as styles are concerned, my biggest influences would be 80's ITALO, High-Energy and modern Trance, Euro-Trance, Electro-house, and Dance.
Most of my equipment are computer based and/or software driven. However, I frequently make use of some sounds on my Roland SC88 Sound Canvas and some of the sounds my Technics KN-SX2000 Keyboard. I replaced my keyboard in 2015 with a Yamaha PSR-S750.
