MaxineDiamonds has a distinct voice that not only captures your soul but also your mind. Her melodies will give you a taste of music that will make you want to dance, think, and sing-a-long. Maxine first captured many peoples attention when she performed at many local talent showcases, community benefit showcases and events held throughout New York City. Although Maxine has many other talents, her first love is to sing. She has expressed her passions through her songwritings and songs. The lyrics she creates are parables and messages that people of all genders and ages can relate to. There is a piece of her spirit that can be heard, found, and touched when listening to her music. In Maxines' own words, "she is trying to send the message that no matter what the situation, good or bad, the cause, right or wrong, the conclusion, negative or positive, there is a solution in song. We can all escape our natural selves and enter into a world where everything is implict."
Band/artist history
Since the tender age of Three, MaxineDiamonds knew that singing would be her passion for life. Her parents being historians of the Apollo's Amateur night has inspired maxine to sing before she should even talk. Although it was MaxineDiamonds mother who inspired her to sing, great artist such as Anita Baker, Regina Belle, Shante Moore and Sharah Vangh has been her inspirations as well.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I try to sing anywhere I can. I am from New York City and anybody that knows the city, knows that there are many Hot Spots to showcase your talent.
