Matthew Becker
Well, I'm essentially a one-man-band if that makes any sense. Most of the equipment I use to write my music is done through sequencers and notation software.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I've been composing since about 2000. That's about it.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Played at a concert back in April 2008 with a cellist, flautist and a clarinetist. It was nerve wracking but it was still a good time.
Your musical influences
Some elements of film music is apparent, particularly if you're a fan of Hans Zimmer or John Williams. Some of it even sounds like video game music for those who are familiar with Nobuo Uematsu, Koichi Sugiyama or Yasunori Misuda.
What equipment do you use?
The software on my computer.
Anything else?
I love sushi.
