Mat d. and the Profane Saints are a four piece Alt. Country/Roots Rock band from Sioux City Iowa. Fronted by award winning singer/songwriter Mathew deRiso (winner of Folk Rising's album of the year 2007 and 2008) The band has released 2 criticaly acclaimed EPs and one two length CDs since their formation in 2006. Their latest album "Dirt Town City Limits" was released in July 2009
