Markos Tegui
What up this is the Decimal The Hip Hop Artist/ Producer. and my best advice is! If you're not having fun, you're not getting a good song done. I also like to focus on continuity and versatility. I try not to sound the same style every track.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Been rhyming for over 12 years and been writing for about 9 years. I started out freestyling and beat boxing, but I've always been a break dancer sence 6 years old so music has always been apart of my life. Joind a Hip Hop crew Circle Empire at 13, and been active on projects and recording sense then, and Still Reppin. Solo album is "1 Mic and 2 Speakers". Next album coming soon "Fresh Out The Box" with me and Santo Vontez, also Me and QP7000 "The Official Customer Service" and more ....
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Ive done shows all over San Diego CA, from house parties to clubs and concert venues and more. Performing is my highest level of expression. The closest feeling to Heaven on Earth. I love it when the crowd screaming makes my ears ring, it's great!
Your musical influences
My main influence in music is the entire Hip Hop Culture from dancing to graph, turntablism to emceenin'. Which is all a reflection of my artistic life. Through the bad it's my only good.
What equipment do you use?
To produce I use the Fantom-S Roland keyboard. Though I work with other producers like Big Ron who uses the Motif Yamaha.
Anything else?
There are so many new songs i got soon to release so stay tuned, and follow up on the Decimal. I'm all over the web, look me up. And don't take Rap/ Hip Hop too personal, it's only entertainment!
