I have been writing and performing hip hop since the age of ten. Unfortunately I have had some bad luck and made some bad decisions that have turned into run ins with the law, relationships gone wrong, etc. So in short, I'm no stranger to this game, but I still got lots to learn. I've played around the country and on national TV, but now I hope to do it right and stay there once I get there this time, God willing.Have you performed in front of an audience?I play live anywhere they hand me a mic. Last two shows were Fista in Santa Barbara and Nicholby's Night club in Ventura. Both crowds went nutts and gave us a whole lot of love and I had way too much fun after. Next show is the 27th with Digital Underground at SOHO Night club in Santa Barbara. We plan to have a lot of fun with some old school idols of ours and rock a sold out house all night!
Your musical influences
I have been inspired by every kind of music from a young age. I used to memorize the Casey Kasem top 40 every week as a kid, and trade my hot wheels for blank tapes so I could record the show. I used to fake being sick so I could tune into KDAY, so I could record Russ Pars and get the newest Doug E Fresh, and LL Cool J tracks. Ha Now I'm dating myself. I am also a big fan of Elvis Presly, the doors, Ritchie Valens, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Marvin Gaye, Mahalia Jackson, Shirly Caesar, 80's Music, Puff Daddy, Eminem, Dr. Dre, and alot of these new kats that I study. Kanye West, Mike Jones, etc.What equipment do you use?
Mostly a Mic and a computer is all I need at the moment.Anything else?
Fingers, tongue, the tool, and whatever fruit I can find!
