Mark J Lane
A love affair with guitars, computers, and inexpensive microphones resulted in the debut album for Easta Green. Melodic and infectious, Mark displays crafty guitar work and emotional lyrics in this Hang-out-with-your-friends Acoustic-driven Rock.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
As you hear these lines in the opening song "Look Live Learn", you begin to realize Mark Lane is not a seasoned veteran. The first time he performed live by himself, he did a rendition of Britney Spears' Baby One More Time. The sing-a-long on acoustic guitar seemed almost too funny to be considered a talent. But 3 years later, it's evident that there is much more to him than just a funny act. Before moving recently to California, Mark had begun to start a following in his hometown of Erie, PA, splitting vocal and guitar duties with a two-piece acoustic band called "Dojo Joe", which were known for their intense, but fun shows. Now, with the release of "Lost In The Desert", Mark is able to explore a full band sound, while holding on to his powerful, acoustic-driven live sets. Mark is truly looking at all of life's possibilities, living each day to its fullest, and learning a lot along the way. And maybe playing some Britney Spears too.
