First Attempt at an Acoustic song playing the mandolin. Only have about 4-5 hours of playing time on this new instrument I was given on my last birthday!

Bluegrass

I have been playing guitar over 40 years, can't read a note. My dad was a honky tonk / ragtime piano player on the Mississipi River in the 50's and my mom played classical piano. Go figure... I have been using Presonus for many years and love it. Sell my Monkey was recorded with it and is my first upload in maybe 10 years.
Band/artist history
Just picked up a guitar and knew I wanted to play. I was maybe 10 or 11.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I haven't played in a working band in a long time. Work and kids always came first. Those days are soon behind me as I am close to retiring.Last time I was in an active (2-3 times weekly) band, it was a new wave band called "The Nukes" in St. Louis. My fondest recollection was the 2 times at the Washington University Art School "Beau's Arts Ball" way back in the 80's
Your musical influences
OK, I could rattle off way too many bands that taught me something or that I respect for their originallity. Since I have been at it so long, I can't remember all the songs I have learned and since forgotten! Let's just say that the 60's, 70's and 80's are my era. I loved a piece of all of it along the way.
What equipment do you use?
DAW is Presonus Studio One 5. Gutairs are 1971 Telecaster, Later model American Strat (1995), Fender Jazz Bass and a Kentucky mandolin. I have a bunch of boxes but the only one I seem to use anymore is the Line 6 Pod. Presonus Studiolive lll is the mixer.
