Marcus Desolataque has originated from various genres being exposed to a lot of celtic folk music, old country and helpings of 60's nonchalance with a little bit of blues and alternative thrown in - He has played in many bands over the years doing everything from blues/jazz to irish traditional and 60s,70s,90s. Alternative experimental is where his soul lies as a form of musical emotive expression. The band are prolific songwriters and spend quite a bit of time chopping and mixing and refining songs and searching for perfect undertones and do get lost in the songwriting process at times. The new album has been long in the making but the band are delighted that it will be with us all soon.
ps. I have removed several songs that were quite high in a few charts so apologies to anyone that liked themBand/artist history
The 'band' have gone under some musical style changes in the last 15 years, different directions, different paths depending on transient musicians available who brought and added their own voice to the developing sound... There has been acoustic all the way with jazz vibes, blues vibes, alternative folk meanderings, celtic undertones etc. Bands change and grow shaping their musical identity into a voice of it's own. It's all about finding our niche and the musical path that best suits us. the playing history is quite long as has been the 'sessions'. The 'band' now have their own voice and style with big feet in alternative folk genre with subtle natural tones and sometimes not so natural and quite intrusive melodies as there can be an electro quality at times.Have you performed in front of an audience?the 'band' are in a writing phase thus live performances are minimal at present. Although we do make sporadic appearances here and there. Although I've tons of stories from live gigs, I'll reaccount them someday ;)
The 'band' have done over 600 gigs in the last 10 years so plenty of live experience under the belt.
