Brian Eno had an album called 'Music for Films,' and that's how i feel about this moody, ethereal piece. Close your eyes and surrender to the sweeping, eerie sounds and the drip-drip-drip within a deep grotto, and drift away.

Mania Peace is the solo project of Duchess of Hurl, and all music is composed, recorded, edited, and mixed by me on a KORG M3 synthesizer/workstation.
My music is driven by my own duality - the darkness within versus my spiritual nature; and also, the darkness of life and the world versus the spiritual nature of the universe. It just depends on which one i feel like expressing at the time i am composing.
I simply decided i wanted to compose some music and put it out there. I want to have a part in exploring, developing, and pushing the industrial genre(s). I also am interested in developing elements of the classical form(s) and instrumentation into a similar expression for our time period. An updating of that. I don't completely know what that sounds like yet, but i'm already hearing some of it in my head. I just need to get it down on some tracks.
Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Psyclon Nine, Type O Negative, Sisters of Mercy, Opeth, Project Pitchfork, Phillip Glass, Brian Eno, Dream Theatre, and many, many others. In the New Age genre, particularly i'd cite Constance Demby. Also have been heavily influenced by Classical composers, especially Brahms and Beethoven. Finally, i've been inspired by my many MySpace friends who have solo projects, such as Matt Crane, The Great Randola, Black Sheep Screaming, evol, and Somnium7.
KORG M-3 Synth/Workstation and Audio-Technica ATH-M50 cans. That's it.
