I'm not a band. I was playing as a drummer in different bands in my early years. Jazz, Experimental, Rock, Cover Music. I was teaching drums in a Jazz school in Darmstadt/Germany for a while. Later my interests turned to children stories and poetry. Some of my stories and poems have been published. Thenmy interest turned to painting. I did some exhibitions around my home area. And I managed some exhibitions with various artists. And now my interest is turning back more and more to the music, where I feel is my home. As a drummer, I was not satisfied with this instrument. So I tried out some other instruments more or less. The examples I will publish here, are some improvisations made for an exhibitons I did with my friend ali Latif from Kurdistan.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Well, I have been playin live at about more than hundred conzerts with different bands. I started with some others pupils at the age of thirteen, and with fifteen years I was accompaning my drumm teachers Jazz group with the bongos and congas, where Jennifer Rushs brothers was playing the sax. The most impressing experience with makeing live concerts was the experience, which is known as the flow. You play two hours, and it seems to you as it where just ten of fifteen minutes. This happens sometimes not all the time.
Your musical influences
My musical influences are very wide. I grew up in an lutheranian priest houshold. My father organized conzert in his church from every musical direction. When I was a child in our house seven Musicans from Madagasscar ar living there. This was my first contact to drumming. We had Jazz Music conzerts with the best german Jazzmusicans there. We had Rockconcerts. We had Classical Composers in pour House. Christian Pop. When I getting older I get in contact to Musicans form Iran and Irak. I played for a short time in an Iranian band. So I'm not really shure what are my influences.
Anything else?
Please excuse the relative bad quality of the sound. And exuse also some mistakes in my music. It is just improvised.
