Pistol E. (now known as M.V.Doughboy) the Mississippi raised veteran, started doing his thing on the microphone in the 4th grade at Chuch Street Elementary. Inspired by his brother, Ronald Kelley (Grand Rapids, MI), he still strides for recognition from the industry. Growing up in the Northeast Mississippi area didn't supply a "silver spoon" to him in his teen days. When in the 10th grade, he was co-founder of a local group called "Street Kings" and they released there first debut album called "Royalty" that hit the high school hallways quickly. After that, Pistol E name was out there as one of the next hottest rapper in town. That wasn't good enough, Pistol E. wanted to be nationally known. The group broke up after the album and years rolled by with no work done. During this session, Pistol E. was faced with a lot of trials and tibulations and became more focused on himself and his money. So he changed his name to M.V.DOUGHBOY. He later dropped his first album "HUSTLACATION" under Black Ceza Records that was a hit album but never got promoted like it was suppose to. After the album released, M.V.Doughboy hopped on the Greyhound Bus and moved to Lake Charles, Louisiana to be in a better location for his music - still striving to get his name out there and represent the generation of go-gettas and everyday people catching every aspect of any human's mind. "My musical influence is my brother, Ronald, who I saw growing up - writing sick flows in his pad. When he left home - I snuck in his room and read his raps and was amazed from it - and I wanted to be just like him - so if he don't make it - I will keep pushing to still represent myself and him because his passion lives within' me."What equipment do you use?
