Mark "M-Pyre" Barnes came into the world January 8th 1986, in Bronx, New York. He was raised by his grandmother, whom lovingly kept him sheltered during his childhood years. In the mid 90's as Diddy's music spread across the airwaves, M-Pyre found himself inspired by the 80's sounds he had grown up listening to, yet remixed by Diddy in a Hip Hop manner. Unfortunately, he lost his grandmother in the mist of this new found inspiration. His father moved him to Georgia. During these years, M-Pyre discovered a new passion within, poetry. It wasn't long before he found that by converting his poems to compliment Hip Hop instrumentals, he in fact was "rapping". With his new found talent, he began recording parody's to well known Hip Hop / R&B songs. M-Pyre made a personal move in 2007 to North Carolina and linked up with Alpha Omega Studios which aided M-Pyre in discovering himself as a true artist. The owner of the studio, Christopher "Gee" Wiggins, was no longer consider just an owner, but a friend. When Gee made it known that the studio was prepped to relocate to Houston, TX in 2008, he chose to move with the music. 2010 created yet another opportunity, when M-Pyre met Shells Dinero (CEO of 20Twenty Entertainment). M-Pyre currently resides in Atlanta, GA. Music isn't a game to him, music is life.
