Lystra
Welcome to Our Perfect Resistance. Lystra brings the same passion and engergy to their music that they have in life. Listen to one song and you can't help but notice the adrenaline that flows through every word, every note. So to describe Lystra in one word, the word i would use is Heart. They have alot of it and will pour it out on stage for anyone.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We are currently not playing live. "Our Perfect Resistance" will be available October 31st 2008.
We will always remember our first show at clutch cargos, that was awesome, but i think the one that really sticks with us is the battle of the bands at Saline Middle School in Michigan. Our fans became a little over-enthusiastic and moshed the security in the pit. way metal.
Your musical influences
Lystra has a diverse set of interests. Some of us like A7X, atreyu and disturbed. But we also listen to different styles like muse. Anything that appeals to us really. Honestly though, when it comes to writing, we really just do our own thing. It sounds like what it sounds like.
What equipment do you use?
Our guitar players use epiphone and schecter guitars. Mesa triple, line 6 and others. Wes plays on a gretsch drum set. Jonathan prefers sure beta 88 mics.
